Ashley Wade

Ashley Wade

Executive Director

Ashley has over 20 years of senior living experience, with communities throughout the midwest. Most recently, she served as the Executive Director of Sycamore Creek Senior Living, Spectrum Retirement Communities in Pickerington, OH, responsible for all facets of operations of the community. She was previously associated with Friendship Village Columbus, Kendal at Granville and Hillhaven Retirement, where she held regional and community marketing director positions, managing the sales and marketing teams and executing advertising and public relations efforts. Ashley holds a Bachelor of Arts, Political Science, from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. She relocated to White Plains, New York, from central Ohio to join the Broadview Team. She, her husband and two children are enjoying exploring Westchester and surrounding counties!

Amy Post

Amy Post

Marketing Director

Amy has 17 years of senior living experience. She previously served as director of cultural arts and transitioned into retirement sales counselor at The Knolls Retirement Community in Valhalla, NY. She is a graduate of Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, N.Y. where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in jewelry design and sculpture. Amy is a native of Westchester County and lives in North Salem with her husband, two sons and dachshund, Sawyer.

Amy is an official trained provider through the SAGECare program, a cultural competency training program organized by SAGE.

Tina Rao Witthoefft

Residency Counselor

Tina brings more than 25 years of sales, marketing and administration experience to the Broadview team. She previously served as community sales director at Brightview on New Canaan – Senior Assisted Living & Memory Care in Connecticut. She also has experience as a retirement sales counselor at The Knolls Retirement Community in Valhalla, NY. She earned a Bachelor of Science in marketing from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Tina is also a licensed realtor in Connecticut with William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty and has 10 years of experience.

Tina is an official trained provider through the SAGECare program, a cultural competency training program organized by SAGE.

Marketing Coordinator

Raina Woo joined the Broadview team in September 2018 with 11 years of senior living experience as a Marketing Coordinator. Previously, Raina worked as an Activities Director for independent and assisted living residents of Five Star Premier Residences in Yonkers, NY. She earned her undergraduate degree in Graphic Design from State University of New York at Oswego and an Associate’s degree in marketing from SUNY Orange Middletown, N.Y.

Kate Abate

Kate Abate

Director of Resident Services and Intergenerational Learning

Kate is a credentialed Gerontologist (MSG) with a Master of Science in Gerontology from the University of Southern California.  Her research focuses on resident lifestyle, intergenerational culture, and community development. She helps build community vitality by incentivizing healthy and social experiences through environmental design, integrated wellness, and creative engagement.

In addition to her Gerontology degree, Kate has a bachelor’s degree in politics, international relations, and economics minor from Scripps College in Claremont, CA, as well as completing post-baccalaureate studies in Psychology at the University of California at Los Angeles.  Kate spent a semester living on campus at Purchase College studying philosophy and anthropology, and she is thrilled to be back on campus in her role as Broadview’s Director of Resident Services and Intergenerational Programming.

Kate is also a wellness professional with significant experience as a certified personal trainer, nutrition coach, crisis counselor, yoga teacher (RYT-500), and an accomplished Olympian athlete in bodybuilding.

Prior to her work in Gerontology, Kate ran a person-directed wellness business for 10 years (formerly in Los Angeles) focused on the implementation of behavioral and environmental health, nutrition, and fitness. She also served for several years as director of operations with a business process consulting firm specializing in outsourcing, before transitioning to person-centered care management and advocacy for older adults at RAINN.org.  Kate’s passion for wellness lifestyle design and her strength in creative problem solving converge to form a cohesive and robust method to experience meaningful longevity.

Stephen Mandracchia

Food and Beverage Director

Stephen V. Mandracchia, a chef who has worked in some of the most prestigious clubs, hotels and restaurants, as its new Director of Food and Beverage.

The Mamaroneck native, who started his career in the family’s commercial seafood business, has more than 25 years of experience as an executive chef and director of food and beverage.

Introduced at an early age to some extraordinary chefs including the late Anthony Bourdain, Mandracchia said his passion for food, hospitality, and service led him to work at The Mayflower and Watergate Hotels in Washington DC, where he apprenticed under Chefs Agostino Buggio and the Late Chef Jean Louis Paladin.

Upon returning to New York, he became known for his progressive cuisine and business acumen. He was granted membership to the prestigious formal French culinary societies Les amis D’ Escoffier and La chaine de Rotissiuers. There he was also ranked as one of the top 25 Ice Sculptors and Food Artists in America. He has appeared on The Apprentice, Good Day New York and Good Morning America and has been featured in numerous culinary and print media. He is a recipient of three NY Times stars, The Star Diamond Award from the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences, and Michelin Designation.

Crystal Manson

Environmental Services Director

Crystal Mason has recently joined Broadview at Purchase College, as our new Environmental Services Director.

Crystal previously worked in Facilities and Environmental Services at large healthcare institutions, including The James Cancer Center at The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, and Cri Research Campus at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She brings over 30 years of expertise in Environmental Services to the Broadview Team.

Prior to joining Broadview, Crystal was the Senior Operations Manager at Wexner Medical Center, a 1,000-bed regional cancer research and treatment center.  Her duties there included the management of   a department of 300 employees, with 30 direct reports. Her additional experience includes employment with the University at North Carolina serving as Operations Manager and was a member of the team earning the recognition of a Campus of Distinction’. Crystal believes that service to others is the best way to improve the well-being of all people.

Crystal earned a BA, Human Services/Administration from Kaplan University, Des Moines, IA and Master’s in Public Policy and Management, from The John Glenn College of Public Affairs, at Ohio State University. She is Six Sigma Certified, and holds certificates in CHEST, Ohio State University, Diversity and Inclusion, University of North Carolina at Charlotte. During her tenure at the Wexner Medical Center, Crystal served on the Acute Leukemia Committee.

Administrative Services Director

Charlotte is a native Westchester County resident who has dedicated over 12 years of her career to the non-profit industry, consistently demonstrating her commitment to providing excellent service and exemplary leadership. Her diverse professional experience spans various organizations, with notable contributions to the New Rochelle YMCA, where she held the position of Associate Membership and Marketing Director. During her tenure at the YMCA, Charlotte showcased her exceptional skills by effectively managing operations and providing day-to-day leadership for the maintenance, fitness, and front desk staff.

In addition to her impactful work at the YMCA, Charlotte has also made significant contributions to various other community service and religious organizations within the Westchester, NY area. Prior to her involvement in the non-profit sector, she successfully operated a business that specialized in marketing and design services for local churches and organizations in New Jersey. Charlotte’s well-rounded professional background also includes several years working in technology organizations such as Gartner and Sprint/Nextel.

Charlotte holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Iona University. Furthermore, she has acquired a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Manhattan College, further enhancing her expertise in leading and managing teams effectively.

Brittaney Jones-Alleyne

Healthcare Services Director

Brittaney Jones-Alleyne joined Broadview Senior Living at Purchase College as the Health Services Director.  She has 13 years’ experience working in Senior Living.  She previously worked at The Osborn Senior Living in various capacities, most recently she was the Resident Relations Manager for Assisted Living and Memory Care. Brittaney is a native New Yorker, growing up in both the Bronx and New Rochelle.  She has a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from Monroe College and a Master of Business Administration with a focus in Healthcare Administration from Cappella University.  She is also an Alumni of the Leading Age Larry Minnix Leadership Academy.  She worked with the Leading Age Leaders of Color Network to support and facilitate career advancements in the field of aging services.  Brittaney is passionate and a true advocate for the senior population. She takes pride in providing excellent person-centered care to the residents and their families.

Pedro Ruiz

Environmental Services Manager

For over 17 years, Pedro Ruiz honed his expertise in building services and project management. Now, as the Environmental Services Manager at Broadview Senior Living (since November 2023), he leverages this experience to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for our valued residents.

Prior to Broadview, Pedro had the opportunity to develop strong leadership skills while overseeing teams, managing projects, and maintaining exceptional hygiene standards at prestigious organizations like Morgan Stanley and Boehringer Ingelheim. Here, he thrived in meticulously planning and executing building service projects, collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders, and fostering clear communication – all valuable skills he now uses to create a well-maintained and comfortable environment for Broadview’s residents.

Pedro’s diverse career journey also included a fascinating stint as a Medical Sales/Provider Relations Representative at CIGNA Health Care. This role allowed him to cultivate strong communication and interpersonal skills by building trust and ensuring smooth collaboration with contracted providers. These skills are invaluable in fostering positive relationships with our residents and their families at Broadview.

Beyond work, his passion for meticulous detail and a commitment to excellence extends to his hobby of restoring and collecting vintage cars from the 1930s to 1960s. This dedication translates perfectly into his work at Broadview. Just like with those classic beauties, Pedro strives to create a welcoming and well-maintained environment for Broadview residents, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently behind the scenes.

As a dedicated family person with a love for classic cars, Pedro brings a unique blend of passion, meticulous attention to detail, and a proven track record of success to every aspect of his work at Broadview Senior Living. His commitment to exceptional service ensures our residents feel comfortable and right at home.

Ramya Thambuswamy Hopley

Residency Counselor for the High Point Center for Care at Broadview

Ramya Thambuswamy Hopley found the joy of working in healthcare through her family of physicians. She spent her early years helping in her father’s general surgical practice in the small town of Perrysburg, Ohio. She joined Broadview at Purchase College in 2023 as a now the Residency Counselor at the High Point Center for Care.
Ramya was 14 when her parents and four siblings moved to Toledo, Ohio, from Madras, India. She attended Columbia University in New York City, where she met her future husband.
With over 20 years of experience, Ramya is a seasoned Public Relations professional. Her career has spanned a diverse range of industries, from nonprofit organizations to Fortune 500 companies. Her expertise has been instrumental in developing and implementing Public Relations strategies that have garnered media coverage for her clients in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries, established them as thought leaders, and strengthened their relationships with stakeholders.
Outside of her professional life, Ramya is deeply committed to her community. She is an active member of the Greenwich, CT Representative Town Meeting, a 230-member legislative body with its powers vested by the Town Charter. She also serves as a member of the Round Hill Association Inc. and the Northwest Greenwich Association and is a Charter Oak Leadership program graduate. Her dedication to community service extends to her volunteer work with the Greenwich Community Center (GCC), a nonprofit organization that supports underprivileged Greenwich residents in accessing community resources.
At Broadview at Purchase College, she focuses on helping residents get the best care at The High Point Center for Care for Assisted Living and Memory Care.
She holds a master’s degree from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Toledo.
Ramya and her husband reside in Greenwich, CT., and have three adult children.

Clifford Saladin

Executive Chef

Chef Clifford Saladin has been in the culinary field for over 25 years. He grew up in Westchester County and moved to southern Connecticut in his teenage years. Chef Saladin’s career started in Rye Brook in corporate dining at Daka Foods. He instantly fell in love with working in a professional kitchen. He worked in a few local restaurants then landed his first hotel job at the Stamford Marriott Hotel and Spa. He started as a line cook and worked his way up to Restaurant Chef. Cliff attended the Institute of Culinary Education where he completed the culinary arts program. He held sous chef positions at Park Ridge Marriott, Manursing Island Club, Hilton Rye Town and the Riverside Yacht Club in Greenwich, Ct. In 2008, he became the executive chef at the Tarrytown Sheraton. Eventually he was promoted to Executive Chef of the Hilton Woodcliff Lake. Chef Cliff worked at the well-known wedding venue called Whitby Castle in Rye, New York. In 2015, he became the Executive Chef at Saint Andrew’s Golf Club. This exclusive private club is known as the first golf club in America. For the past two years Cliff has been at Kendal on Hudson. He improved the quality of food, overall dining experience, and introduced health and wellness to the menus. He got to know the residents and developed a reputation of welcoming feedback to improve the food program.

Chef Cliff’s cooking style is has been contemporary American with a classical European foundation. He loves executing global cuisine and adding his personal flair to the presentation. He stays current on food trends in healthy cooking, food allergies, and vegetarian options. He believes in locally sourcing products whenever possible and using the best ingredients to elevate the dining experience.

Cliff has been awarded two Associate of the Year, three Manager of the Quarter, and the Bill Tiefel Award for Service Excellence. He has executed events for George W. Bush, former Governor John Roland, Michael Bolton, former vice president Al Gore, and former Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

In his time away from the kitchen, Cliff loves to spend time with his wife and daughter. He loves to travel and collect vintage vinyl jazz records.
