Broadview at Purchase College Welcomes Health Navigator

Purchase, New York – (November 2025) – Broadview at Purchase College, a university-based retirement community on the campus of the State University of New York at Purchase, has hired Tiffany Malcolm as its new Health Navigator.

Malcolm brings more than 15 years of experience in social work and healthcare to her new job.  Before joining Broadview, Malcom served as Director of Social Services at Regeis Care Center.

In her new role, Malcolm will work with residents and their families to coordinate health services and ensure that they have the most appropriate level of care.

“I see my role as helping residents to maintain their independence and live a full life in an independent living setting,’’ said Malcolm.

Malcom holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work, and has worked in a variety of settings serving young and older adults.

As a student, Malcolm said she switched her college major to social work after one of her advisors recognized her “passion and drive to make a change.’’

Malcolm said her job requires a lot of listening and working with residents and families to come up with the best care plan for residents, whether it involves preventive health measures to keep them fit or lifestyle adjustments to return them to peak fitness after a hospitalization.
Ashley Wade, Executive Director of Broadview at Purchase, said she had great faith in Malcolm to help residents get the most appropriate care. “Tiffany has the experience and the empathy needed to ensure that all of our residents, whether in Independent Living, Assisted Living, Enhanced Assisted Living, or Memory Care choose the best option to meet their needs.”
