Broadview at Purchase College Names Amy Post Marketing Director

Westchester County, New York (August 16, 2022) – Today, Broadview at Purchase College announces the promotion of Amy Post to Marketing Director. Broadview is the university-based retirement community currently under construction on the Purchase College, SUNY campus. To date, Broadview has secured deposits for 92% of the 220 apartment homes and villa residences.

In this new role, Post’s responsibilities will include managing the sales and marketing teams, executing advertising and public relations campaigns, and securing final deposits to bring the community from 92% reserved to 100%. Post is the longest serving member of the marketing and sales team, recently celebrating her 4-year anniversary.

“I was inspired to begin a career in senior living 20 years ago because of my close relationship with my grandparents. I cherish seeing the personal connections and relationships that have already begun forming between the future residents at Broadview and I am proud to be an integral part of making those connections happen,” said Post, Marketing Director at Broadview. “I could not be more thrilled to be taking on this new leadership role and taking this premier university-based retirement community now under development at Purchase College to the finish line.”

Previously, Post served as Residency Counselor for Broadview for 4 years. Her efforts to date have successfully secured deposits for over 36% of the reserved residences at Broadview, a year ahead of the community’s expected completion in late Summer 2023. Post has deep experience in senior living. Before Broadview, she worked for The Knolls in Valhalla, NY, as both the Cultural Arts Activities Director and later as a Residency Counselor, and brings a vast understanding of life plan retirement communities.

“I have watched Amy fundamentally transform our approach to sales and outreach and she has played a critical role in helping Broadview achieve the milestone of being 92% reserved a year from opening. She has been with Broadview since the beginning, and I am confident that in this new role, Amy’s leadership and personal touch will prove invaluable,” said Ashley Wade, Executive Director of Broadview.

In preparation for opening in late summer 2023, Broadview at Purchase College is undergoing a large expansion of their staff, ranging from the administrative team, to HR, to finance. “We are thrilled that Amy is the first of many promotion announcements to come,” said Elizabeth Robertson, President of the Board of Directors for Purchase Senior Learning Community, Inc. “We are embarking on a one-of-a-kind community in the Westchester area, and it has been a priority to ensure our team has the experience, dedication, and passion to bring this community to life.”

Broadview is being co-developed by Senior Care Development, LLC and LCS Development, LLC, and will be operated by Life Care Services®. LCS has over 50 years of senior living and housing experience and manages over 140 senior living communities nationwide. Broadview is one of only ten communities in New York to receive a Platinum Credential from SAGECare, one of the country’s oldest and largest nonprofit organizations dedicated to improving the lives of LGBTQ+ seniors. The Platinum Credential is the highest-level credential that can be achieved.
